(Thomas Stanton, a Roughish looking British Gentleman Enters, with a Nazi Soldier wielding a Gun)
Thomas: Mr. Wilder, once again you have led me right to my prize.
Damon: You always were a few steps behind
Soldier: Step away from the spear (Draws Pistol)
Thomas: Oh? Nothing clever to say?
Damon: I try not to make a habit of upsetting unstable men with guns
Thomas: Then do as he says, step away from the tomb. (Damon moves away) Good, now behold, the Holy Lance, the Spear that pierced the Messiah. What? Where is the rest of it?
Damon: I’m not sure what you expected, the rest of it was made of wood. It would have rotted a long time ago.
Soldier: Stanton, don’t tell me this was all a waste of time?
Thomas: No no, we still have the piece that pierced christ. It grants the strength of anyone killed with it to its wielder.
Damon: All I see is an old hunk of metal, It isn’t some magical weapon.
Thomas: No! Let me show you. (Stabs Solider) No, something should be happening, this is the spear that killed the Messiah.
Damon: Stanton, it’s just an artifact. Something that belongs in a museum.
Thomas: No! It can’t be
Damon: You know, you made one major mistake, Stanton. Don’t Stab the guy with the gun
(They Fight. Damon wins)
Thomas: Why Wilder? If not for the power, why!? (Dies)
Damon: Fortune and Glory Stanton, Fortune and Glory.
